Thanks for your answers, guys, see you around. I found one log on level 6 describing the malfunction of the Tri-Optimum panel near the entrance and how it displays the code to the exec maintenance tunnels, I found all the numbers I needed in logs, some even hidden in multiple logs like the code to the room your first suit is in ( Sabo's ) - can I get a HALLELUJAH for completely voiced logs in 1994? - but I can't remember whether I ever found a log that explained to me what to do to overload the reactor.Įdit: I just re-listened to all the eMails I got - would I be correct in assuming that the information about the code comes from a log from a guy on engineering named Willard Richie? With Richie's log specifying exactly what numbers I need? Now I would like to know where the audiolog is located that lets the player know which digits will overload the reactor. That all works out fine and dandy - but I knew what the code was and where to search for it from reading a walkthrough in the first place. (Its worth mentioning the middleground between those types of more modern games - the nonthingness of RPG abilities, where youre dripfed new statistics on old skills that allow you to maintain equilibrium against ever-scaling. Still, there is one thing that eludes me up until now: I know that the code to set the reactor to self-destruct is the 6 digits you get from the screens next to the nodes you destroy on level 1-6. Its a power fantasy, and while its often a lot of fun, System Shock 2 immediately reveals what a loss it really is.

Hey guys, I just finished my second playthrough of System Shock and I'm having a blast.
